Arkansas farmers have enrolled more than 204,000 acres in the Conservation Reserve Program to protect the environment and provide habitat for wildlife.

Through voluntary enrollment in the Wetlands Reserve Program, Arkansas farmers have restored more than 215,000 acres of wetlands. Arkansas wetlands provide resting, loafing and foraging habitat for migratory waterfowl, songbirds, shorebirds, wading birds and other wetland species.
